Whenever and wherever I can, I am advocating for the end of lockdowns....for freedom.....for life as we used to know it. , and not being tested for covid. or not wearing masks? Right? Is anyone listening to you? I know I'm not. I'm just curious if anyone else is.Funny enough, all the years my kids were in school, I was one of the few mom's insisting my kids stayed home when they had even a fairly mild cold/flu, so as not to spread it to the teachers and other kids....colds/flus are unpleasant and imo, when people are snotty and sneezing with a known active virus, they should take measures to keep it to themselves.
So NO, I've never been "all for kids going to school when it's clear they are sick", particularly with something that spreads. The studies have shown asymptomatic spread of Covid is rare, and kids spreading it, is rare, so if kids just refrained from going to school when sick and snotty, that imo, would be more than enough.
But no, I am not up for masking kids at all and Covid tests have been proven to be far too unreliable for me in support of them.
There's lots of folks, namely dr.'s and scientists that are on board with the ideas I just expressed...the Barrington Declaration linked to below, supports such a plan and has 727,145 signatures from citizens, 13,290 from medical and public health scientists and 40,199 from medical practitioners.

I mean question what you see and hear, like that stuff about all the hospitals being full and 400,000 deaths. You're having trouble believing you're being lied to. Best get used to it. I know I'm questioning what you and figs are posting. Fauci spoke at a press conference in D.C. today. Did you watch it? He's much more knowledgeable than you and figs are. I'm guessing it's because he has experience with pandemics, vaccines, and the roles they play. I'm sure if you look, you can find it on the 'net. It beats the hell out of the vids you two are posting. The questions that's up in the air in though is: Is he much more knowledgeable than virologists, immunologists, scientists, doctors, epidemiologists who hold a divergent opinion from Fauci? I don't profess to to be an expert myself on these subjects, but I am more than capable of reading what those who are experts have to say and formulating from that, my own opinions.
Fact is, there's a myriad of highly educated doctors and scientists behind the views that masks don't work, that lockdowns are more deadly than the virus, that the virus is not really such a big deal and that we don't need to take any extreme measures where it's concerned.

You totally missed my point. Do you feel compelled at all to look into that? I find it very, very strange that not being fully sure about that, you're in favor of mandates. Why are you willing to shrug off suicides related to Covid lockdowns but not death due to a virus? The suicides are happening because lockdowns, social distancing, masking up our faces so we cannot see expressions, is unnatural. Humans are social animals. Why are you okay with taking strong measures to prevent death from a virus in mostly elderly and sick people but not interested in addressing the issue of teens offing themselves due to lockdown? It is precisely the lack of conscious awareness regarding mind content that you are demonstrating here that I find so frustrating with this whole thing. It's as though basic common sense has just flown out the window for half the population.

Well, they're not an end-all be-all solution, for sure. If someone comes up with a better solution, I'll consider it. I couldn't help but notice the Trumper's at the course started wearing masks after the round when we totaled up scores and had a beer in mid-summer. We had a couple of doctors in the group that wore them. Lawyers, too. It must of had an impact on the rest of us. A better solution to a made up problem? Stop believing it's a problem. Yup.

You know, the pithy tainted ones. Why aren't you addressing that hit and run ugliness when it takes place? Not a peep out of you when it happens. But you're happy to join in with a comment or two. What funny Art, is that when when we were on friendlier terms, you were completely fine with my address of ST posts, by reposting them responding to them on Gab....A few times, you actually complimented me on such. It's only now that I'm not in agreement with you that you are labelling that practice as 'hit and run ugliness...pithy...tainted.'
And really, you're not alone in that; We are often far less judgemental of those who we see to be a friend vs. a foe....the important question though when it's comes to all this 'spiritual stuff,' IS....are you or are you not aware of that kind of bias/filter when it's happening?

I mean, it stands to reason that if the the way the vaccine works is, in Moderna's words: "Generally, the only thing that changes from one potential mRNA medicine to another is the coding region – the actual genetic code that instructs ribosomes to make protein." then it stands to reason they could combine a whole range of "side-effects" into the thing .. I don't know, and am incredibly ignorant about the specifics of RNA science, but my intuition based on my casual knowledge would suggest that they could easily slip in a sedative or an anti-psychotic, for instance.
Whoa! .. now, that realization blurted, we gotta' keep the genuine relative wisdom of knot-knowing as a tool in our arsenal! It's a powerful one! Cearallys! .. butt, I really ain't in much of a mood to trust these fuckers right now. Pod people! All of 'em .. fucking Pod People!

And that's why I wear a mask when I'm out and about. I don't understand why neither one of you are getting that. Oh well, just another day in paradise. What is it you not getting about MASKS DON'T WORK? And in terms of any virus or contagion out there, is very, very likely, actually "helping" to spread it with all the face/mask touching going on. |

If you pay attention to the real news, people around the world are waking up to what's happening and fighting back, even Rowan's electricians are refusing to play the game. Because my world is fabricated out of my own illusions! So improvement is not happening at the mass level . |

The German virologist I liked to post about when this whole thing started (don't recall his name) said, back when schools were first closed down, that leaving kids in school is the best way to achieve herd immunity during a virus spread, and the risk to the children is miniscule. I see good arguments for keeping sick kids home. |
