I think those who are currently digging in their heels and trying to hang on to old ways are going to experience the greatest upheaval. There seems to be an idea currently in play that says they can berate, dismiss, subjugate, crap on, unwanted, dissident views and those who hold them and that will make it all go away--nothing could be further from the truth. This imo, is a time where holding to rigid hateful views is gonna bite you in the butt harder than it ever has....and of course, this applies whatever side you find yourself on. On the other hand, love and acceptance is going to go farther than ever too....it's like, whatever direction you're leaning towards, will be magnified. Scary and exciting!

Marie and I are increasing our squirrel satsangs from weekly to daily, which pleases the squirrels no end. |

He was much more interested in his own self-interests. No surprises there. Covid is what I said it was a year ago: a bad flu. Except I'm not sure about the bad part. I've experienced a bad flu more than once in my life. Body aches, fever, headache, sore throat, fatigue..... I was never fighting to breathe, though. The woman who cuts my hair registered for the vaccine last week. She showed me the response on her phone... They'll be in contact with her in the month of February, 2022, to set up her appointment... She now wears a mask and a face shield while working 8-10 hours a day....Why? Because someone heavily invested in his own self-interests wasn't paying attention. |

Yup...me too.....the early reports of how this was all gonna down and what was going on are now all coming to fruition....conforming pretty much exactly to the scenario was laid out.

Yes, awakening from the consensus trance is a whole different thing from awakening to the dream, but have you noticed, those on the sleeping side of the equation, fight just as hard for the validity of their myopic view in each instance?
The recent 'banishment' of dissident views from social media is really not so different from ST's banishment of us a few years back.
Perhaps it could be said that the idea that uncomfy messages and views can simply be silenced and that will do the trick, seems to be the last vestige, the last hurrah to try to hang on to the lies, just before the lies become so obvious that they must be acknowledged as such.
In each case, folks are fighting tooth and nail to hang on to something solid....what they don't realize is that the suffering itself is the 'fight to hang on.'

In a true "pandemic" that actually warranted the extreme measures that have been foisted upon the world, we'd all know first hand of several people who died and many who became very ill/were hospitalized.
There was about one day back in late Feb./early Mar. before I saw the writing on the wall, where I figured I'd for sure lose my dad to Covid, likely some of the older neighbors on my street...perhaps my kids with their health issues would be affected in some way, and surely here on the forums, with a mix of folks from all over the world and on my fb friends list, there's be some one who would die and/or become very sick.
A year later, I know 3 people out of all of those who had it; One had no symptoms, quarantined with a family of four children, one elderly adult, for almost 4 weeks (that's how long it took to test neg.)... none of the family contracted it....another friend's brother had it, had mild, cold-like symptoms and again, did not pass it on to his family, and now an elderly aunt of mine, who was already in hospital, doing very poorly, tested positive and is having mild cold-like symptoms.
In a true pandemic where folks are dropping like flies, you don't have to bully people into complying....the very fact governments HAD to implement mandates speaks to what a non-issue the virus actually is.

Still, for the vast majority of people, the symptoms are mild. Given that the survival rate is something like 98%, the vaccine isn't really addressing the virus, which begs the question, what is it really for? |
