How do you know so much about the future dream of infinite potential? If you pay attention to the real news, people around the world are waking up to what's happening and fighting back, even Rowan's electricians are refusing to play the game. That's incorrect. We hired the electricians who would wear masks in our home while working. So how do you know it's wrong that the electricians (The ones you didn't hire, of course) refuse to play the mask game? |

...What? Indeed it wasn't. The question is, what does that tell you? Why? Because Trump kept them in the dark about it. He refused to acknowledge it. But when he contracted the virus, what did he do? He went to Walter Reed Army Hospital to be treated. Do you remember that? A whole lot of people woke up with regard to their health when that happened. Agreed. IOW, more people are afraid. It says nothing about whether or not they have something to be afraid of. It's okay to think for yourself. |

Hehe....  I liked that too. If I'm right, Trump has done everything according to 'rule of law' so as to demonstrate How much corruption there is. His whole exercise with the election lawsuits certainly got my attention. There's corruption on every level. |

Masks don't work, but I comply with my customer's wishes.What we are finding mostly is that the majority of folks who are up for having work done in their home, are onto this thing. Have you seen that too? Those who are not, are horrified at the idea of some stranger who might be Covid-coated coming into their home. Thus, in most cases, the mask deal isn't an issue, which is awesome. Yes, there have only been a few times I've worn a mask. |

I've totally missed your point? You've yet to make a point. Are you still a smoker? I gave it up for another's well-being is the point. I don a mask when out for the same reason. Do I feel compelled to look into that? Of course. Am I going use resources like The Blaze in Texas, to do that? Of course not. Well, they're not an end-all be-all solution, for sure. If someone comes up with a better solution, I'll consider it. I couldn't help but notice the Trumper's at the course started wearing masks after the round when we totaled up scores and had a beer in mid-summer. We had a couple of doctors in the group that wore them. Lawyers, too. It must of had an impact on the rest of us."Virtue signalling" is a really big thing right now.

In that case it wouldn't 'resonate' so well. I haven't checked the numbers since last spring because there is so much manipulation. Now, how would you know that number is meaningless? You're making shit up now. The obituaries in our local paper have gone from 1 page to 4 and even 5 pages the last few months. People of all ages. I'd have to say it's concurrent with what's taking place throughout the country. Maybe you should go hang out in L.A. for a day or two. You might change your mind. |

I've been shocked by many things this, just as you have, not the least of which is how deeply programmed we've become, and how intractable that programming is. Right now, we are literally fighting for our lives.Yup. This very convo I'm currently having, and the others like it I've had, often too with someone who supposedly values 'being conscious' is a testament to just how intractable that programming is.
So many who have bought into the Covid farce simply refuse to even articulate why they are okay with lockdowns to save elderly/sick people from Covid but fine with the fallout of lockdowns. They won't even look at the double-standard they are applying, and I do find that scary. So much of their stance is completely unexamined.
Hubby & I were talking about that this morn; Why some folks are innately curious and will always dig down to get to the heart of things, while others cling to main-stream narratives. It always comes down to the level of fear. (just as it does when it comes to SR)... Those who are heavily invested in the idea of a caring government that takes care of them and a media they can trust without question, depend upon those anchors to help keep the fear at bay. Absent those anchors,many would be lost.
The willingness to change and refine views as experience evolves is a rare human trait, but obviously, more important than ever....the huge numbers of folks waking up to see what's been going on over the past year (and lets face it, if you're seeing that, you're now seeing a whole host of shit that's been going on all along!) really does speak to a whole lotta folks who are willing to let go of their safety nets...and that really IS something to be celebrated!

Well, they should have made it clear when we called them on the telephone about contracting their services. They instead tried to play hardball with me in the driveway about it. "We won't take the job if we have to wear masks." So, as I said, I thanked them for their time, and returned to the house. Simple. |

What I've discovered is that people who don't believe the virus is serious only change their minds after someone they know (or they, themself) becomes seriously ill with the virus. Not only can it be deadly in the short term, but docs are now discovering that even people who contracted what seemed like mild cases with few symptoms can later have serious and unusual after-effects. One of the latest discoveries is what some physicians are calling "Covid psychosis"--full-blown psychosis that shows up three months after what appears to be a total recovery. They're not sure whether the virus attacks the brain or the immune system attacks the brain. Same same with cardiac, kidney, and liver issues, as well as diabetes suddenly appearing. The long-haulers are well documented, and one lady I know who got sick last April has never recovered normal lung function. This is nothing like the common flu despite what some people think. Our plumber was in bed for 12 days with a high fever, and he told me yesterday that even now, a month later, he is still having weird pains shoot through various parts of his body. The director of our local hospital caught the virus three months ago, and he told me that he's still not back to normal. |
